A Javanese-Minangkabau descent, her birth was premature due to placenta praevia condition of her mother. Putri has been totally blind in both eyes from she was three months old due to suffering from retinopathy of prematurity.

Despite her disabilities, her musical talents have been prominent since early ages when she learned music as an autodidact without joining any vocal lessons. Participating in various musical contests since she was seven years old, Putri joined the second season of Indonesia’s Got Talent in 2014 where she emerged victoriously as the winner. She also actively performed her songs in her YouTube Channels. Since 2021, she is enrolled at Yogyakarta Musical High School (SMM) and took major flute specialization.
